The balances of issued letters of guarantee (internal and external) as at the end of 2012 amounted to 157,687 million Dinars, with a 25% increase over the balance as at the end of the previous year, which amounted to 125,679 million Dinars. The margin held against the issued and outstanding letters of credit amounted to 21,671 million Dinars as at the end of 2012, with a 14% increase over the previous year. Revenues achieved from issued letters of guarantee amounted to 6,763 million Dinars.
